If you like what you saw from LG and their newly announced 5.2-inch quad-core powerhouse G2 smartphone then we have some good news. After announcing the smartphone earlier this month we learned it would become available late August or early September. However, those wanting to ensure their own, Negri Electronics has the unlocked US model available for pre-order today.

The LG G2 is the new flagship smartphone for the company, and they have high hopes for the device. With a stunning and world's thinnest 5.2-inch full HD display, Qualcomm's 2.3 GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM, a 13 megapixel camera and more on board it's quite the looker.

And we can't forget the biggest feature, at least to LG, which is the backside touch controls. Also known as a power and volume button on the rear instead of the sides. The button placement is a bit unconventional, but to be honest it does make sense in a way. So how can you get your own? From Negri Electronics.

LG confirmed a late August to early September release date on the 4 major US carriers, but we have no exact date. That was followed up with a promise of 100 different carriers globally within 90 days of the announcement, so we should know plenty extremely soon. For those who don't want to wait for details or a carrier, Negri has the unlocked model up for pre-order as we speak. The only issue is it won't ship til the end of September, so a carrier could get it first, and it's a little over $600. It's your call.
