We have seen details on a few ASUS tablets as of late. Details have recently surfaced on the MeMO Pad 10 and MeMO Pad 7, however it looks as if the company has another 7-inch tablet in the works. One with an Intel processor. The tablet is sporting a model number of ME371MG, but keep in mind, we have yet to see any official word from ASUS.

That warning out of the way, lets get into the specs that have been revealed thus far. The tablet is said to be powered by an Intel Atom Z2420 processor and with PowerVR SGX540 graphics. Other specs include the 7-inch display which is shown as being IPS and with a resolution of 1280 x 800. The tablet should also launch with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Aside from the few mentioned, the ASUS ME371MG specs round out as follows; 1GB of RAM, 8/16/32GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 4270 mAh battery, 1.2 megapixel front-facing camera and a 3 megapixel rear-facing camera as well as the usual array of sensors to include an accelerometer, digital compass, proximity and light sensor.

Otherwise, the tablet is said to weigh in at 340 grams with measurements of 196.6 x 120.1 x 10.4mm. Aside from this one leak, the details on this tablet are at a minimum. That is really just to say that a release timeframe or possible price has yet to be mentioned. One could hope to see ASUS make an official announcement during Mobile World Congress, but time will tell how accurate that thought will be. So how about it, anyone interested in seeing an ASUS tablet with an Intel processor?
