It was only a month ago that CyanogenMod released its first monthly build, and now, one month later to the day, they have delivered M2. The M-series monthly build is meant for users who want to forgo some of buggier builds that come with the nightlies. It still lets them get the latest features, but the builds tend to be much more stable.

Today from the folks at GSMarena we now have a full 2012 roadmap that has leaked with a list of Sony's upcoming device expected launch dates, codenames, and pricing. The Consumer Electronics Show is the grandaddy of 'em all when it comes to technology conferences, and with Android's rise to the top of the mobile world, that means there was plenty of phones and tablets on hand. Lucky number three. Today Sony Ericsson has posted their third teaser image sporting what looks to be the new Sony Ericsson Xperia flagship smartphone they'll be unveiling at CES. If all of the previous rumors and leaks turn out to be accurate this will be the Xperia Arc HD (aka Nozomi) -- but we could also be seeing multiple new devices from Sony at this years show as this new image looks different than the Nozomi.

Sony's still playing coy with its latest high-end phone reveal before CES, but at least one person has managed to lay hands on it. ITProPortal's tipster didn't stop there: they've managed to benchmark the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Arc HD, also known as the Nozomi. With the latest Qualcomm 1.5Ghz dual-core processor residing inside, it's got a lot of expectations to live up to. But if this early hands-on is anything to go by, all is not well in the land of XPERIA.

Stating today on multiple social network sites that they have "interesting news" and that "something big is coming" sometime next week. It appears that SONY really is going all in with Android because the details of this latest leaked phone sound extremely nice. This 4.55" 1280 x 720p reality display packing smartphone is headed for AT&T with an awesome display and an equally impressive camera to snap some high quality beautiful photos. Wondering when your shiny XPERIA phone will get a new lease on life thanks to Ice Cream Sandwich? If Sony Ericsson's corporate blog is to be believed, it could be as soon as... March. The company said that the Xperia arc S, neo V and ray (the capitalization handicapped models) would be getting the first updates, while the arc, Play, neo, mini, pro, mini pro, and active models would follow in April and May.

New Sony Ericsson Nozomi photos ooze style
Say what you will about Sony Ericsson's current lineup of Android phones, but the Nozomi (AKA the Arc HD) is a looker no matter how you break it down. A tipster delivered a new set of leaked photos to GSMArena, showing off the high-end handset's sharp corners and chrome accents. This is the first we've seen of the phone's back, and while it's a little thicker than we'd like, there's just no denying the appeal of the slate.
