Back in July, Sony announced a new smartphone that was optimized for people that love to take selfies. The smartphone is the Xperia C3 and fans of the selfie-optimized smartphone can purchase one for rs 23,990. It is also available in Russia as well.
The Xperia C3 packs a 5.5-inch screen with 1280 x 720 resolution and a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor. The operating system is Android 4.4 and the processor is paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. Like most Android devices, a microSD card slot is available supporting cards up to 64GB.
The smartphone does have dual SIM slots and the rear camera is 8MP resolution with an Exmor RS sensor, LED flash, and the ability to record full HD resolution video. The big feature of the smartphone is the 5MP front facing camera with a 25mm wide-angle lens.
The lens has 80-degree field of view and can record 720p video. Sony’s Xperia C3 is 7.6mm thick and tips the scales at 150 grams. It has integrates WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and supports 3G networks. Power comes from a 2500 mAh internal battery. September 1 is the date for wide availability in India at major electronics retailers.
