If you may remember back in March, Xiaomi proudly showed off a new 43-inch FHD TV and a 65-inch curved Mi TV 3S. The models are just the first two from this line of smart TVs that boast of an impressive and super display. Joining the two are the Mi TV 3s 55-inch and Mi TV 3s 65-inch, both having 4K display.

Aside from the size, the difference between the two are the sources of the 4K displays. The smaller 55-inch Mi TV 3s uses an IPS 4K display from LG while the 65-inch Mi TV 3s uses one from Samsung.

Xiaomi definitely knows what it’s offering the consumers as the TVs come with a smart artificial intelligence system called the Patch Wall. This interface can and will analyze a person’s behavior, looking at his most frequently used apps and favorite TV shows and movies.

When it comes to pricing, these new TVs are very much affordable. The 65-inch model costs only CNY 5,000 which is about $750. The 55-inch TV is CNY 3,500 or $525 in the United States. They are affordable alright but these units are only available in China.

Specs of the Mi TV 3s include a soundbar (30Hz-22kHz), four wireless back surround speakers, and a wireless subwoofer. That’s for an extra $150 to be added to the 65″ Mi TV 3S. Without the soundbar, the TV is still good enough with the built-in speakers.

The newest Xiaomi smart TVs are thick-thin at only 9.9mm in metal bodies. There’s the brushed aluminum back panel and gold diamond-cut sides that make the Mi TV 3s look premium. As for the specs, these devices are equipped with an Amlogic T966 chipset responsible for decoding and streaming, quad-core Cortex-A53 processor, Mali-T830 GPU, 8GB built-in storage, and 2GB RAM. There’s also the standard WiFi connectivity for video streaming and again, that AI-based software for content recommendations.
