Honestly, we haven’t thought about Vertu lately for one obvious reason: phone is very expensive. However, we’re surprised to know that the last one we featured was almost a year ago when Vertu and Bentley partnered and came up with a limited edition smartphone. It’s the one the company introduced after the Vertu Aster got a 117-carat 5th-gen sapphire crystal screen cover.
This time, the classic Vertu Signature luxury phone gets updated with faster performance, more vibrant display screen, and a higher quality build. The new Signature Touch maintains the English luxury mobile phone manufacturer’s signature design of high performance, unparalleled quality, and luxurious style. Phone comes with a 5.2-inch Full-HD LCD display also with a 5th-gen solid sapphire crystal screen, 428 ppi, 21MP main camera, and 4K video recording capability.
The new Vertu Signature also features a custom Image Signal Processor, Dolby Digital Plus virtual surround sound technology for super clear audio quality all the time. As with the past Vertu phones released in the market, this one also includes full services offering from Vertu like a Dedicated Concierge, Vertu CERTAINTY, and Vertu LIFE.
If you’re in the UK, you can order this at Harrod’s exclusively starting tomorrow, September 25 until October 8. The Vertu New Signature Touch will be ready in stores worldwide October 16. It will be available in 8 product executions as Vertu calls it: Pure Jet Red Gold, Clous de Paris Alligator, Pure Navy Alligator, Jet Alligator, Pure Jet Lizard, Garnet Calf, Grape Lizard, and Jet Calf. Unfortunately, no word on pricing yet.
