Vertu for Bentley

Vertu will always be known as maker of very expensive phones. Us commoners will never be able to afford a Vertu phone. But for those who have the means, go ahead and buy a phone or two. The previous model we featured just last September—the Vertu Aster was rocking a 4.7-inch Full HD screen. Before that was the Vertu Signature Touch phone also expensive at $11,300.

There won’t be any change to the pricing of Vertu phones anytime soon but surprisingly, there are people who buy luxury phones. Perhaps this next Vertu for Bentley smartphone will attract more millionaires because of two reasons: Vertu and Bentley. The two luxury companies partnered to release the exclusive Vertu for Bentley phone with a €12,500 which is about $15,905 in the US.

Vertu for Bentley smartphone is yet another limited edition handset from the English manufacturer of luxury phones. It’s the first collaboration of the two companies so we’re expecting this smartphone to be a really good one. It’s just the first phone actually since the two British luxury brands have signed a 5-year partnership last July. Expect more Vertu-Bentley phones to be unveiled in the next few years.

Obviously, the Vertu for Bentley looks classy outside. Vertu designed this smartphone to show off both the Vertu and Bentley brands—a combination of “English handcraftsmanship, contemporary elegance, outstanding performance and cutting-edge technology” according to Massimiliano Pogliani, CEO of Vertu.

Specs of the Vertu for Bentley smartphone include a 4.7-inch 1080P sapphire crystal screen, 13 megapixel main camera with autofocus and twin LED flash, 2.1 megapixel Skype compliant front camera, 64GB of built-in memory, 2275mAh batterh, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 2.3GHz Quad-core processor. As for connectivity, we can expect the standard WiFi and Bluetooth plus NFC and LTE. The phone also boasts a stereo high-fidelity 11mm x 15mm loudspeakers with Dolby Digital Plus surround sound decoding support, gyro and accelerometer, A-GPS, and compass. Phone also features Qi Compatible Wireless Charging support.

The Vertu for Bentley is definitely a sophisticated handset. It’s for the moneyed and those with “discerning taste”. I’m pretty sure you’d love to have one but sorry, you can’t afford it. Or can you?
