Samsung mentioned the Galaxy Note 3 would soon be arriving with Verizon Wireless in a new, and exclusive color. That color was Rose Gold, and well, the handset has recently made an appearance on the Verizon website. Given the Galaxy Note 3 has been available with Big Red for some time now, the pricing and the specs may sound familiar.
Basically, aside from the new exterior color — the Rose Gold Galaxy Note 3 is the same as we had been seeing with the black and white models. As a refresh, the handset is priced at $249.99 on a two-year agreement. Other pricing options include $27.15 per month under Verizon Edge or $649.99 full retail.
We took a look at the Verizon branded Galaxy Note 3 shortly after it came available back in October, which may help those looking for some hands-on coverage. In terms of the hardware, those considering a purchase can expect to find a device that sports a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The handset is powered by a quad-core 2.3GHz processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage space. There is also a microSD card slot that supports cards up to 64GB in size.
Other specs include Android 4.3 Jelly Bean along with a 3200 mAh battery, 2 megapixel front-facing camera, 13 megapixel rear-facing camera, LTE connectivity and the S Pen. All that having been said, while the Rose Gold Galaxy Note 3 is available, Verizon has is listed with a “will ship by” date of January 30th. The other item of interest is the “limited time only” reference, which seems to imply the Rose Gold Galaxy Note 3 may be heading to other US carriers.
