We were all eyes and ears when we learned about the Vector smartwatch simply because of the 30-day battery life promise. That seems impossible but the wearable device can really last the long according to the manufacturer. It was first shown off back in March and the product was just listed for pre-order.
There are now a dozen variants to choose from depending on your mood and preference. This one doesn’t have a touchscreen display though because the smartwatch features don’t need the touch controls. It connects to both iOS or Android-powered device via Bluetooth LE connectivity.
Wearable device doesn’t run Android Wear but it is compatible with Android and even iOS. Alerts shown on the watch include new notifications, incoming text messages, and reminders that are signalled by vibrations. Vector smartwatch will be ready in 12 models in rectangular or round faces and gold or silver. Pricing starts at $333 (219 GBP) and could go up to $531 (349 GBP). No word if this will ever come in America but smartwatch will be ready in the UK this month.
Smartwatch collection is now listed on VectorWatch.com. Choose from among the Comtemporary, Classic, and Performance lineup. Some models are also available for shipping in the next few days while you might have to wait for October for pre-ordered items.
