Earlier this month, Samsung expanded its mobile payment service in Russia. That’s after it celebrated its first birthday and updated the app with Coupons support, restore function, iris scanner support, and cloud sync. The company also added Capitol One credit cards and just this week, USAA Visa cardholders. USAA Bank is adding Samsung Pay which means account holders can take advantage of Samsung Pay.
Android Pay and Apple Pay can also be accessed by the members but adding Samsung Pay expands the mobile payment services, allowing them more flexibility in paying for their purchases. This is exclusive to those who have supported Samsung Galaxy phones like the S7, S7 edge, and Note 5.
What’s good about Samsung Pay is that it is accepted in old terminals or those that only require tapping or swiping a card. The South Korean tech giant made sure that it will be easy and convenient for more users and that their payments are accepted everywhere.
USAA Bank members specifically requested for Samsung Pay so the company gave in to the demand and finally embrace the mobile payment service offered by Samsung. Right now, it’s ready on the latest Galaxy S7, S7 edge, A5, A7, Note 5, S6 edge+, S6 edge, and S6 while Samsung Pay Beta is available for the Gear S2 and Gear S2 Classic. Service is also available in several countries already like the US, South Korea, Singapore, Australia, Puerto Rico, and Brazil.
