We anticipated for the ‘TRANSFORMERS: Battle Tactics’ to arrive on mobile and it finally did last February. The game has allowed geeks and fans of the beloved franchise to create the best robot team. This isn’t like Angry Birds Transformers that requires a bit of swiping and tapping on the screen. You need to analyze your moves to win in this turn-based strategy game.
You can choose to be a Decepticon or an Autobot in this game. With over 75 TRANSFORMERS characters, you might have a hard time choosing which robot to use. I’d say choose the most popular characters like Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, Starscream, or Megatron. If you haven’t tried playing this game, know that you can actually assemble teams of Transformers robots with other players from around the globe. Autobots and Decepticons can work side-by-side in this game, strategize together, and win the battle.
TRANSFORMERS: Battle Tactics game recently received an upgrade. As expected, the content and some characters were updated. Developer DeNA also added support for Live Events to the app. DeNA has launched the first in-game event for the title which will run until next week. Entitled “Beast Wars Episode 1”, this event requires players to join a fight that will either give control or have another battle with Cheetor, Waspinator, or T-Rex Alt Mode Megatron–just some of the classic Maximals and Predacons.
Of course, we can expect some bug fixes and enhancements on this 1.0.6 version. DeNA has worked hard on this game and this Live Event is just the first in-game event. We have no idea if there will be another one or when. Let’s see first if you can take the action and be the best Transformers in this battle.
