Some people change wallpapers on their mobile devices as often as they change clothes (some even more than that!). But there comes a time when you’ll run out of ideas on what to use or you’ve already exhausted your wallpaper app. Here is where the Tapet app comes in, as it can generate a random wallpaper for you daily or even hourly if you really wanted.

The word Tapet is actually an old European word that means wallpaper, and it basically encompasses what the app does. With its exhaustive “database” of decorative wallpapers, it can help your device look nicer by generating a different one depending on what interval option you set, starting from every 15 minutes to every week. You don’t even need to resize them to fit your device; it automatically creates wallpapers depending on your gadget’s resolution at the highest quality. In fact, it can even have a parallax effect on your screen. The developer promises that new wallpapers will be added for every update, so there is almost no chance of a wallpaper repeating itself when you choose the random mode.

As soon as you install the app, you can already start looking at the wallpapers and choosing your first one. You just need to swipe left, right or down to browse through them, and if you want to go back to the previous one, you just need to swipe up. Once you’ve found what you want, just click on the check button and it will change your wallpaper with something that fits your screen. If you’re bored, you can even start a slideshow of the available wallpapers by double tapping the screen. The app also now lets you save the wallpapers that you like or even share it on your social networks.

If all this sounds like it would be too heavy for your device, it is not a live wallpaper app, so it will not affect your CPU or memory consumption. However, it is still in beta version so there is no guarantee yet that everything should work perfectly. But if you’d like to try it out, you can download Tapet from the Google Play Store for free.
