It’s funny how some smartphones’ selling feature now is that you can take great selfies with it. But as annoying as that may be for some, that’s the world we live in now. Chinese OEM Meitu’s newest device, the V4, does market itself as a great option for taking those much posted and much debated pics of yourself or your friends/loved ones, and that’s because it has a 21MP front-facing camera, perfect for this selfie loving generation.

People started talking about this “selfie camera” when it showed up in the TENAA website. Now Meitu has officially unveiled their V4, and yes, as shown in the TENAA document, it does have a 21MP camera both for the rear one and the front facing one. Aside from taking good selfies to show off your make-up or to get everyone in the picture, you can also use the front cam to take good quality Periscope videos while also being in the picture, or rather, video.

But aside from this, the 5-inch AMOLED-displaying Meitu V4 also runs on an octa-core CPU with eight Cortex A53 cores, and a MediaTek MT6795 SoC. It has 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory, so this isn’t just some entry-level smartphone with a selfie gimmick. It doesn’t have Android 6.0 Marshmallow yet and comes with a 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.

The brand’s flagship device, the Meitu M4, is also getting an upgrade, this time known as the Meitu M4s. It has basically the same specs as its predecessor, but the RAM has been upgraded to 3GB and the internal storage is now at 64GB. It is priced at $376 with rose gold, mint green, and dazzling red as color options. The Meitu V4 meanwhile will be sold for $548 and has white with pink accents, light turquoise, and pink options.
