We still can’t say if the BlackBerry Priv is already a success because it’s not yet widely available. In the US, the phone sold well during the last quarter and kept the company in hardware business. We already know that Verizon and AT&T are offering the first ever Android-powered BlackBerry phone. Finally, we’ve got information when T-Mobile is releasing it according to a PhoneArena reader who shared a calendar that says something about a BlackBerry Venice launch.
As well all know, the Venice is the BlackBerry Priv. We’re not promising but there might be a January 26 unveiling if we are to believe the calendar information. Aside from Walmart, BlackBerry, Verizon, and AT&T, we may soon be able to purchase from another mobile carrier. It’s exciting to know that BlackBerry has a lot of partners to distribute the Priv despite talks that the company is in deep danger or the smartphone won’t sell.
The 26th of January is only a few weeks from now. If you’ve been itching to get a new BlackBerry smartphone, the Priv particularly, wait for the announcement by T-Mobile. We’re hoping greater deals and better choices will be offered so more people can avail of the new BlackBerry Priv.
