Most action games for mobile are designed with basic graphics in mind. Others choose to use pixelated graphics now which usually turn out to be retro cute. SXPD’s graphics style is actually impressive. It’s like being inside a live comicbook. You get to see action in black and white and some red only. Comic book artist Duke Mighten wrote the story and directed the comic book part while game industry legend David Perry directed the game section. Simply put, this is a comic book you can play.
SXPD is about an elite police force of female officers who are the ones enforcing the law. They follow the gang and violent criminals of New Royale. It requires a high speed bike pursuit across different environments. You’ll get to explore the wastelands, sewers, and industrial zones of the city. It’s described as a violent and dark game but admit it, the heavy and high speed chases can be exciting to play. Expect to hear earth-shattering explosions and some rapid gunfire.
SXPD is a $1.99 Android game. Only the first chapter is available to play for free but other chapters require an in-app purchase. The price is too small if you’re getting more from the app: a full 42 page comic book artist by Duke Mighten of the Batman, Afro Samurai, and Judge Dredd fame. As for the games, six chapters of fast bike combat was directed by David Perry. The developer has also added six new arcade playmodes.
Honestly, gameplay reminds me of KittenTaxi but the SXPD are the heroes here and not the bad guys.

Makes no sense. $1.99 is exactly $1.99 more than free. Too small? Editor, please.
