The battle of video streaming apps is an interesting one, for consumers at least, since you have all these various options to choose from, and all of them competing for your attention through offers and deals. Sling TV is one of those, and slowly, they’ve been invading the Android market by making the service available through various devices. The latest one they asked to join the video party is Google Chromecast, after adding several Amazon Fire devices a few months ago.

Sling TV, which is both a live streaming and on-demand service with your favorite TV channels, can now be streamed to your television screens through the Google Chromecast streaming device. So if you’re at home and in need of a bigger screen to watch your favorite videos, now you can do so through the dongle attached to your TV screen. You can enjoy the 20 core channels of Sling TV, which includes ESPN, ESPN2, AMC, A&E, TNT, HISTORY, H2, TBS, Food Network, HGTV, Travel Channel, IFC, El Rey, Adult Swim, Cartoon Network, ABC Family, Disney Channel, CNN, Bloomberg TV, Lifetime and Galavisión.

If you don’t have a Chromecast yet but would like to have one, you can prepay for 3 months of Sling TV’s “Best of Live TV” service and you’ll be eligible to get a free Chromecast device. If you already have Chromecast but not Sling TV yet, you can get a two-month free trial of the same Best of Live TV package so you can see what the fuss is about.

Sling TV is also available on the following devices: Amazon Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, Fire tablets, Android TV platforms like Google’s Nexus Player, current-generation Roku players and Roku TV models, Xbox One, and of course Android smartphones and tablets. If you don’t have it yet on your mobile device, you can download the app from the Google Play Store and then subscribe.
