If you have a Sonos smart speaker system at your house and you’re also subscribed to SoundCloud Go, the music subscription service from, who else, SoundCloud, then you’ll be happy to know that the two are now destined to meet. You will now be able to stream the music that you listen to on SoundCloud onto your Sonos speakers and you won’t even get hassled with any cords or complicated set-ups, which is one of the joys of audio streaming.

If you’re not familiar with SoundCloud Go, it’s the paid version of the music streaming and music uploading site SoundCloud. You pay $9.99 a month so you can have access to more than 125 million tracks, including a lot of indie and undiscovered and unsigned artists, but they also have songs and artists from big labels like Sony, Universal, Merlin, and Warner. Being on Go also means you can listen to the songs uninterrupted (meaning no adds) and even bring the tracks offline.

Once you’ve connected your Go account to your Sonos account, it will automatically reflect your status and then you can start streaming the music right away. Sonos has already built a reputation as a reliable smart speaker brand and even though SoundCloud may not be as popular as Spotify or Pandora, this is a good partnership for both brands.

If you haven’t subscribed yet to SoundCloud Go, you should give it a listen and maybe you’ll see, or rather hear, what you like. You need to pay $9.99 per month for the service but you can also choose to cancel it anytime, whatever reason it may be.
