Sony unveiled the Xperia T2 Ultra Android smartphone early this year. The first time we talked about the device was back in January of this year. When it originally launched you could get it in purple, black, or white colors. Sony has now announced another color option just in time to lure in new buyers looking to give a smartphone for Christmas.

The Xperia T2 Ultra is now available in gold, assuming you want the dual SIM version of the device. If you only want the single SIM version, you are stuck with the original colors. The gold color is available in markets where the dual SIM version is available now, such as India.

Other than the new color on the outside, the smartphone has the same hardware on the inside. It features a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 1.1MP front facing camera. ANT+ sport fitness gear support is integrated along with Bluetooth 4.0, aGPS, and WiFi. The smartphone can also be used as a hotspot.

The 6-inch screen has a native resolution of 720 x 1280. Internal storage is 8GB with 1GB of RAM. A microSD card slot is included for storage expansion. The processor is a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm unit and it runs Android 4.4 out of the box.
