Just a few weeks after Snapseed released version 2.0, they’re providing even more updates, albeit minor, as version 2.0.3 is now being rolled out for users of the mobile photo editing app. This seems a bit surprising because before April this year, it was two years since the app received an update, after being bought by Google back in 2012. So now an update in April, June, and now July seems proof that the tech giant is not neglecting the app, despite their all out push for Google Photos, which also has a few editing capabilities.

Version 2.0 of Snapseed, released last June, brought an overhaul, not just for the look but even the UI of the app, from the logo itself to the icons. It also brought the Stacks feature which helped you keep track of the edits you’ve made to the photo so that if you want to retrieve it, you can always go back. Perspective transform lets you fix certain spots in the picture to fix and two new filters were added, Lens Blur and Tonal Contrast.

Version 2.0.3 gives your digital brush more power as it now has a finer tip size and deeper zoom. And if you’re not a photo editing or even photo taking expert, you would want a bit more help, so through the app, you will get quick access to their online resources like Snapseed’s YouTube channel, which has tips and tutorials. The update also brings support to several languages like Català, Dansk, Ελληνικά, English (British), Español (Latinoamérica), Suomi, हिन्दी, Hrvatski, Magyar, Bahasa Melayu, Norsk (Bokmål), Português (Portugal), Română, Slovenčina, Українська, Tiếng Việt.

The update is rolling out to users as we speak. You can check the Google Play Store page to see if your app is ready for the update.
