Do you have trouble waking up in the morning despite your constant alarm clock? Do you love taking selfies? Are you curious to find out what you look like first thing in the morning but you’re too scared (or lazy) to look in the mirror? If you answered yes to these three questions, then you better click on over to the Google Play Store, because this new app called Snap Me Up is right up your ally.

How this app works is pretty simple and if you’re not averse to taking pictures of yourself, then you wouldn’t really mind it. The alarm you set can only be snoozed or turned off if you take a picture of yourself. That’s right, no fixing of hair, no make-up, no preparation whatsoever (unless you can do all that while your alarm is blaring). Your selfies will actually be saved in an album called “My sleepy snaps” which you can choose to keep to yourself, or if you look good enough, you have the option to share it with the world.

You can also use the app as a timer when you’re cooking or exercising or taking a catnap, and a selfie can still be your way of shutting down the alarm, if you want to. There is also another method for waking up (although that may be less fun) and that is choosing to have a random image from your gallery pop up on your screen.

The developer just recently made an update to the app, but they’re just minor tweaks, or small new features, so check the change log on the page. You can download Snap Me Up for free from the Google Play Store.
