Sharp recently introduced a new Android smartphone in the form of the Aquos Xx3 mini. It’s another mid-ranger that is expected to attract those people who want more compact devices and don’t really need high specs. This one is good enough for basic smartphone use or those looking for an entry-level phone. The new Aquos phone already runs the latest Android Nougat out of the box.
The Sharp Aquos Xx3 mini comes equipped with a 4.7-inch FullHD IGZO display screen, 1080p resolution, 469ppi, Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor, 3GB RAM, 16GB onboard storage, microSD card slot for storage expansion, 21MP main camera with f/1.9 aperture, 8MP front-facing selfie cam, and a 2400mAh battery. The smartphone boasts of VoLTE already plus 4G LTE, WiFi, NFC, and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity. Device will run Android 7.0 Nougat when it’s released next year in February.
The new Aquos Xx3 mini’s imaging technology will impress you because of the 21MP rear camera. Phone is also water- and dust-resistant so you know this phone can withstand the test of time. You can choose from various colors options: Black, Blue, Pink, White, and Green.
This Sharp Aquos Xx3 mini follows the Aquos Mini released earlier in Japan. We have no information on pricing and regional availability yet but we’re guessing it will be anything below $300.
