A couple of months ago, Sony announced a new UltraHD 4K TV line powered by Android. It was shown off after a month, boasting a 65-inch diagonal display. This time, Sharp wants to prove itself in the Android TV game by revealing the UH30 and UE30 TV lines, both with built-in Android TV.
The TVs under the Sharp UH30 and UE30 series come in 60- to 80-inches. The Android TV platform lets you play games, watch shows, and listen to music. As the first Android TV products from Sharp, you can be assured of better playback quality and totally the best experience on the platform.
The TVs are already available from Amazon, Best Buy, HHGreg, and other retail stores. The 70-inch UE30 30 series is cheaper at $2,099 compared to the $3,299 UH30 model of the same size. Amazon just offered great deals for the TV models. Check them out before they become more expensive than ever.
The Sharp AQUOS 4K Ultra HD UH30 and UE30 series could very well rival Sony’s Ultra HD line. Between the two series, there are nine models with different screen sizes from 60 to 80 inches. Features include Sharp’s Revelation Upscaler and access to Google Play and similar apps like Hulu Plus, YouTube, Netflix, PBS Kids, and Hulu Plus among others. You’ll see the Android TV interface where you are allowed to search for apps, music, and use voice search whenever needed.
You can also play Android games like the NBA Jam, Bandland, and Final Fantasy while the Google Cast feature still allows casting of any content from an Android device and then straight to the new Sharp 4K Ultra HD TV.
Both the UE30 and UH30 come with AquoMotion 480 and AquoMotion 960 picture technologies, respectively. They make it possible to control and reduce motion blur especially in fast scenes. There’s also AquoDimming that controls every detail and pixel especially in dark or low light conditions.
The UH30 and UE30 TVs come equipped with four HDMI inputs, SD card reader on the UH30, WiFi, Bluetooth, modern and sleek design that is also frameless, and SPECTROS Rich Color Display technology for more colors. The display technology brings more shades of green or red, that can bring more realistic landscape scenes plus more natural skin tones and lugh nature scenes. The Sharp UE30 TV series is available in 60-, 70-, and 80-inch models. The Sharp UH3 is also available in 70- and 80-inches.
The Sharp AQUOS UH30 70 even passed 400+ picture quality tests to achieve the THX 4K-certification. That’s an impressive feature right there because this means every pixel is as perfect or as precise as the scene maker intended it to show. This particular model also comes with a special touchpad remote and microphone for searching content and voice command.
