Okay, so it appears Russia jumped ahead of HQ when they had the official announcement for the Samsung Galaxy Spica I5700 last October. Not to worry, here’s the mothership’s Official announcement, which was yesterday by the way, direct from Seoul Korea to the world. Mmm, either I need my pills, or I need to get off the SciFi channel for a bit.

According to this latest announcement from Samsung Electronics HQ, this new Android-powered smartphone has an 800MHz processor, 3.2-megapixel camera and 3.5mm headphone jack, all in a casing measuring 13.2mm thick. Which we already knew, but now has been confirmed.

Also, the Samsung Galaxy Spica I5700 is already on sale in various European and CIS countries (Commonwealth of Independent States; like Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Moldova, Kazakhstan, and others), but will soon be launching in the Middle East and Africa. Below, you can read the press release for this Android phone.
