Here we go again: more information about the upcoming Galaxy S7 and the S7 Edge. Another rumor has it that the two flagship smartphones will feature microSD slots. If true, it means Samsung has heard the complaints of the people who were wondering why the company left out that part in last year’s S6 variants. The Galaxy S7 models are also believed to be IP67-certified.

We’ve learned a lot about the premium Galaxy S phones already. When it comes to the displays, the Galaxy S7 will have a 5.1-inch screen while the Galaxy S7 Edge will feature a bigger but curved 5.5-inch screen. Earlier reports said the basic S7 will have a 5.2-inch screen.

When it comes to resolution, it will be the same as the previous models: 1440 x 2560 quad HD AMOLED screen. Nothing is certain yet but we also know about a possible always-on display. Battery will remain the same–still non-removable. However, the S7 and S7 Edge will have bigger batteries at 3000mAh and 3600mAh, respectively. Of course, we can still expect wireless charging similar to the S6 models.

Other important details we’ve learned so far include the following:

• an Exynos 8 Octa 8890 processor will be used
• a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 SoC version will be available (US)
• 4GB RAM
• 32GB/64GB onboard storage
• 12MP main camera with an f/1.7 lens aperture
• 5MP front-facing selfie camera

We’re expecting these information and details will still be changed. We’re hoping too that the smartphone will be revealed next month, just before the MWC event. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see because all these rumors and leaks won’t stop until an official announcement is made.
