Samsung may have officially unveiled the Galaxy S5 during Mobile World Congress, however the official introduction video has only recently been posted. The video has appeared on the Samsung Mobile YouTube page and clocks in at close to four minutes in length. We’ve had plenty of Galaxy S5 coverage since the announcement, but this video should be beneficial to those considering a purchase.
If nothing else, this Samsung Galaxy S5 introduction video manages to compress all the highlights of the device into a single three minute and 45 second stretch of time. Interestingly, Samsung begins the video with mention of how “innovation is not just about technology” but about how “it’s about how it improves everyday life.”
Or in this case, possibly the everyday lifestyle. Remember, the Galaxy S5 has plenty to offer those who are active. Or alternatively, those who are looking to be a bit more active moving forward. Some of these features include the option to set workout goals, track your progress, and even monitor your heart rate with the built-in monitor. Samsung also offers a reminder about how the Galaxy S5 fitness features integrate with the Gear line of wearables.

Some of the other highlights for the active user include the IP67 rating, which makes it resistant to both dust and water. Samsung also offers an “Ultra Power Saving Mode” on the Galaxy S5. Otherwise, some of the key features of the device include a 5.1-inch Full HD display, quad-core 2.5GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, 2800 mAh battery, 16MP rear-facing camera and Android 4.4 Kit Kat.
