Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini pre-orders have recently begun showing up with several Australian carriers. At this time those carriers include Telus and Optus and one of those two are offering an extra freebie to further entice a purchase. The pre-order listing is already available on the Telus site and Optus should soon have a similar listing available.

According to details coming from the Telus listing, the Galaxy S4 Mini will ship with a free flip cover pack and also a free Fitbit Flex fitness bracelet. These are offers valued at $69.95 and $119.95 respectively, but perhaps more important is the part that comes along with the Fitbit details.

Telstra has said this offer will expire on September 17, that is, unless it gets “withdrawn earlier.” In other words, while Telstra has yet to offer a solid shipping date, this pre-order expiration date does give a clue. That said, the Galaxy S4 Mini sports a 4.3-inch qHD (960 x 540) display and is powered by a dual-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon 400 processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM.

The handset also has a 1900 mAh battery, 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera, 8 megapixel rear-facing camera, LTE connectivity and is running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. Otherwise, we recently spent some hands-on time with the Galaxy S4 Mini and as such, have a post detailing our thoughts on the handset.
