Samsung adds more treats for iPhone users buying after Test Drive

It looks like Samsung really is determined to bring to Android (or at least their own kind of Android) people from the other side. After letting iPhone users test drive the Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S6 edge+ and the Galaxy Note 5, they will be now giving away goodies worth $200 if those who participated there will decide to buy any of the Samsung devices they tried out. And this offer lasts until the first day of next year, so you still have a few months to decide.

So if you participated in the test drive and you now decided to actually get any of those 3 aforementioned Samsung devices, you’ll receive $100 of credit in the Google Play Store. And if you trade in your iPhone to your existing carrier or retailer, you will also get a $100 cheque. This is actually an interesting strategy to win over fans of their greatest rival to their side, but of course the premise is that they actually did enjoy using Samsung’s newest devices more than their trusty iPhone.

Claiming these freebies is relatively easy. After you’ve finished your test drive, you can head over to the promotions page and answer a few survey questions. Then you would need to fill out your purchase details, and as proof that you really bought any of the three devices, you include a picture of the receipt. Then they’ll email you the code for the Google Play Credits. And if you’ve proven you traded in your iPhone, you’ll get the cheque in the mail.

If you’re an iPhone owner who did the test drive, you still have a few more months to think about it, if you want to claim these freebies. You would need to purchase the three by December 31 and redeem it by January 1, 2016.
