Widget apps are a dime a dozen but only a few are really useful. We’ve tried and featured a number already but nothing helps more quickly than the Quidgets. This widget can be easily and quickly accessed from any app as made possible by the Quick Settings menu. You won’t even see Quidgets in the app drawer as a standalone app when you download it.

You can only edit the Quick Settings menu for Quidgets to work. This means it’s really “quicker” to access whatever app or feature you want to use. It’s a cool app to use but only Android 7.0 Nougat devices are supported. We have no idea if it will com to Marshmallow or Lollipop but if not, we’re guessing other developers will follow in the same trail and make something similar.

Quidgets can be found in the Quick Settings. Pull the menu down, maximize, click on ‘edit’ and choose ‘tap to setup’. Choose any icon to move to the active tile area. Close the notification shade then open again. Once you’re on the full-screen interface, feel free to select a widget.

The Quidget shortcut can then be accessed from anywhere in the Android device. It’s easy to open but choosing an element won’t always close automatically. You need to choose “OK” manually to close any open window or pop-up screen.

Download Quidgets from the Google Play Store
