The last time we caught a glimpse at the Sony Ericsson Xperia Duo smartphone the photo was a little blurry. A new photo of the smartphone has leaked and it appears to be the official press shot of the device. The new photo is much clearer than the previous shot. The Duo will be the top of the line smartphone for SE when it lands.
Along with the new press shot comes a rumor of a September launch date as well. However, there is no official statement from Sony Ericsson to indicate this is true. The Duo has nice specs according to the rumors that are surrounding the handset. It is expected to have a dual-core chipset under the hood with possibilities bring the NovaThor A9500 or U8500 chips or the Qualcomm MSM8260.
The rumor also says that whatever the chipset is inside the device it will run at 1.4GHz. The Duo is also expected to use 1.5GB of RAM and have a 4.5-inch qHD screen. The device will use the Mobile BRAVIA engine and has a 12MP camera. The OS onboard is Gingerbread and the battery is a 2500mAh offering. The original leaked press shot is in the gallery in as large a size as possible you to peruse.

wow 2500 mAh Battery and 4.5 inch screen
only the X10 made it to America and failed, but the Arc and this are good devices, why the shaft to US citizens. I’m sure the US carriers have something to do with this, the European and Asian markets are so open to whatever mobile devices comes out, good choices.
wow nice specs…. But SE please give OTG (USB On the Go) support just like Samsung Galaxy S2. If u give this facility than this SE DUO will surely a master piece and will give straight competition to SGS2.
Xperia Duo is better than SGS2
