Huawei is expected to release a new phone at the upcoming IFA event next month. A lot of companies are set to unveil new products and devices in Berlin this September and Huawei is one of those many brands getting busy with preparation. Last week, a video of the purported new Nexus device was leaked. Over the weekend, a new image was sighted of what’s believed to be the yet-to-be-unveiled Huawei Mate 7 mini or the Huawei Mate 7 Plus.
A certain device with model number CRR-UL00 was spotted at the AnTuTu benchmark site. Such reference to a benchmark usually means the mobile device is almost ready for release. Looking at the photos, we can say that the phone will have a 4.7-inch display screen with 469 ppi pixel density or a 1080 x 1920 resolution. Not much details have been given but we can tell the device will have a Kirin SoC with octa-core CPU, Mali-T624 GPU, 3GB RAM, 13MP camera, a fingerprint scanner, and will run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. Phone will boast an all-metal build so phone should be tough enough to endure rough and rugged use.
The IFA event is around the corner so I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what Huawei has in store for gadget town this time.
