Okay, so it’s not Rose Gold. It’s really Pink according to the official announcement from Sony. The company has just introduced a pink variant as we’ve been expecting. Earlier this week, Sony teased a few pink stuff online which led us to believe that a pink one is coming our way this January. Apparently, there’s no need to wait that long because it’s here.

The pink variant looks every inch sophisticated and something the ladies will love. Nothing has changed in the specs because the metal frame was just given a different color finish. It’s the same smartphone that is packed with an impressive camera that’s been getting great reviews everywhere and high scores in benchmark tests.

The phone’s battery can last up to two days so you don’t have to worry about running out of juice quickly especially when you’re always on-the-go. It’s equipped with a fingerprint sensor for privacy and security plus personal convenience every time.

Joining the ranks of the white, black, and green Xperia Z5’s, this pink version is expected to become another winner as the color of the year is rose quartz. Actually, any pink variant of almost any phone model becomes a bestseller because for one, the ladies love them. There’s also the fact that most pink versions are made for breast cancer awareness campaigns. Then again, this isn’t that because awareness month is usually October.

This pink variant boasts of the same same frosted glass finish. The shade is light pink that is soothing on the eyes. Others say it’s baby pink while some people say frosted pink. Well, Sony describes this as light dusky pink–a shade that complements the other colors of the Xperia Z5. Taking inspiration from Japan’s Sakura cherry blossom, the pink Xperia Z5 is born. The pink tone is fresh, not strong as the pink Xperia Z1 Compact from few years ago.

The pink Sony Xperia Z5 will be available starting February–just in time for Valentine’s Day perhaps?
