If you’ve been seeing your Apple friends raving about a new social network called Peach, you don’t need to wonder anymore. Even though the initial excitement over the status sharing app has died down a bit, it might experience a resurgence since it is now available for Android devices. You will now be able to experience what the fuss is about as you share text, pictures, GIFs, emojis, and use the “Magic Words” to communicate with your friends and online contacts.

Peach is basically just another Facebook or Twitter, but if you’re already tired of two of the most popular social networks, and all the other ones in the market, then you will probably try something new that everyone you know (or like) seems to be trying too. It basically looks like a chat window where you get to post what you’re feeling or thinking about. But you also need to memorize the Magic Words that you will need if what you want to say is more than just text and photos.

Some examples of magic words are: “shout” if you want your text to have big letters; “draw” if, you guessed it, you want to post a doodle or sketch; “throwback” to add a random photo from your camera, together with the date and time; “play” if you want to play a game of beachball; “mood” to express how you’re feeling; “here” to share your location”; “song” to find out what song is playing, and so on and so forth.

You can download Peach from the Google Play Store for free. Once you’ve installed it, it will tell you which of your contacts are on the network. It will also ask you if you want your posts to be public or private, but you can change that later on. So are you ready to start a new social network now?
