For the average digital person, normally you work or study using not just one gadget, but most likely 3 (or more): a computer/laptop, a tablet and a smartphone. So cross-platform solutions are not just a want, but a must-have, if you work on various devices running on different platforms as well. One of those apps is Parallels Access, and the latest update will make it even easier to work and access files, wherever you may be, whatever gadget you may be working on.

Version 2.5 of the app brings even more innovative features that will allow you to access the files that you need all in just one app. The Universal File Manager is that one place where you can get to your files, whether they’re on Dropbox, Google Drive, or even on your remote computer. You will also be able to copy the files from your remote computer onto your mobile device, if need be. And if you have too many files and not enough time to open them while searching for something, there is a preview for most file formats for both local and remote files.

Another new feature of Parallels Access is that if you’re on one computer and you need to access files on your remote PC, you can do so without installing any new software, but by just using any modern web browser and accessing the files through a set IP address set by the app. If you’re a Samsung user, the app also now has full support for the S-Pen for the Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Note Edge.

Parallels Access 2.5 is rolling out to users, but if you haven’t tried this app yet, you can download it for free from the Google Play Store. There are in-app purchases as well to give you more useful features to enjoy as you work on your mobile devices, wherever you may be.
