If you like catching up with news articles from various sources every morning or evening, then you probably use an RSS reader on your mobile device. If you haven’t gotten one yet, Palabre Feedly RSS Reader News is making a case for itself, and version 3.0 of the app brings a lot of new things to the table. This includes the ability to mute certain keywords, a text-to-speech option, and even looking back at the history of articles you’ve read, among other things.

One of the long awaited features for this app is the ability to mute certain keywords so any news containing that will not appear on your feed. For example, you really hate snakes, so putting that in the mute keyword pile will ensure you will not receive any news that features them. Conversely, you can get notifications on articles that contain keywords that you input, so if you’re on the watch out for any news about One Direction, then you’ll be notified on your device.

If you’re in a situation where you can’t read the articles but would still like to be updated, like when you’re driving for example, then you can now ask the app to read it to you using the text-to-speech feature. Another new feature is that you can now see your history, or at least the articles that you recently opened, just in case you needed to go back to something you recently read. The widgets have also improved and you can now choose to make them transparent or choose which color you want to use.

There are also some additional changes in Palaver’s look. You can now use Roboto as a font if your fond of that, and if you’re in the premium version, you can now customize your app’s colors. You can already update your app to enjoy all these new version 3.0 features.
