OnePlus released the OxygenOS 3.2.0 just the other day. Initially, the Chinese OEM received positive feedback because of the update that brings a number of changes like better RAM management, enhanced GPS performance, and improved quality of audio playback. As with similar OS updates, this one includes fixes for several bugs and issues especially with notifications, Gallery, and in Clock and Music apps. However, it’s been pulled out already.

OnePlus decided on an incremental rollout but the company temporarily stopped the release of updates. Some people are reportedly experiencing issues while doing the upgrade. Because of this, OnePlus stopped the rollout to ensure no further errors or damages are encountered.

OnePlus promised it will be back soon but it’s really unfortunate for those who’ve been waiting for it. The company was even quick to promise that every OnePlus 3 user will receive the updates within 48 hours. It’s an important update but that’s mobile life for you. Not all things happen the way you imagine them to be.

Interestingly, some OnePlus user (b1nny) noticed that his IMEI was being sent only over HTTP upon checking the kind of network traffic. That’s the ordinary route which could be dangerous. It’s NOT safe, secure, and private. Anyone can mess up the system or even have the chance to access your network and device. No need to explain either why this is such a bad idea but it could be the reason why OnePlus pulled out the update. An issue with the IMEI can be big but good thing, OnePlus decided to stop the OTA update. We’re assuming some one from OnePlus is already on top of this.

The OxygenOS 3.2.0 update is said to fulfill a number of things like enable sRGB mode in developer options, update custom icon packs, enhance camera quality and functionality, faster GPS performance, improved GPS performance, better audio quality, and enhanced RAM management. Also, OnePlus 3 owners will also be able to get the latest Google security patches but right now, let’s wait for another announcement by the OnePlus team.
