The OPPO Find X is getting a follow-up. You would think it’s going to be the OPPO Find Y but LetsGoDigital is saying it will be the OPPO Find Z. Aside from the OPPO RX17 Pro and OPPO RX17 Neo, OPPO is also working on new devices. We’re assuming they will be announced formally at the OPPO 2019 Innovation Event to be held later this month at MWC 2019. There’s little information about Oppo Find Z but we believe it is another high-end Android smartphone.
OPPO has been discovered to have filed for Find Z trademarks in Europe. The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) has the OPPO Find Z as a new device although things aren’t final yet.
It may take a few months before the OPPO Find Z find its way to the public but we’re looking forward to knowing how it will be different and better from the OPPO Find X. We’re crossing our fingers this will have the same 10x optical zoom lens.
The Find Z trademark was officially filed last February 2 with the EUIPO. This is listed as Class 9 so we know it is a mobile device. It may have a punch-hole camera as per a recent patent.
The punch-hole selfie camera display could mean no more pop-up camera to make the front screen almost bezel-less. We’re hoping and under-display fingerprint scanner will be present.
We may also be looking at a dust- and water-resistant smartphone. Let’s wait and see at the Mobile World Congress.
