The whole Android community, if not, the Android enthusiasts will always be interested as to how the newest smartphones fare today especially when being compared to other devices from different manufacturers. Anyone can share his or her impressions of a gadget or a review of a new model online and reading such give people an initial idea about a certain device. For those people are not easily convinced even when the product is already in front of them, checking out benchmark apps may be enough.

Benchmark tests can be confusing because there are too many of them and results obviously differ. FoneArena was able to test the new OnePlus 2 using different benchmark apps and captured all the action on video. About ten apps were used to test the latest premium flagship phone from OnePlus. The most common tests we know include the 3DMark, AnTutu, Geekbench, and GFX Bench.

For a more comprehensive test on the OnePlus 2, these apps were used: 3DMark, AntuTu, Basemark, Vellamo, Quadrant, Nenamark 2, Linpack, GFXBench, and Geekbench. Watching the video below will give you an idea about the performance of the new OnePlus flagship phone.

The OnePlus 2 didn’t top any benchmark test but it’s always part of the Top 5 (except on Nenamark 2). Let’s take a look at some of its rankings when compared to other phones:

• 3DMark – No. 3 (Score 22301)
• AnTuTu – No. 5 (56495)
• Basemark OS II – No. 2 (1802)
• Geekbench 3.0 – No. 3 (4253)
• GFXBench – No.2 (2311)
• Linpack – No. 5 (705.718)
• Nenamark 2 – No. 6 (59.7)
• Quadrant – No. 5 (26459)
• OnePlus 2 – No. 5 (1648)

No doubt that the OnePlus 2 did well . Interestingly, these benchmark tests have both the OnePlus One and OnePlus 2 in the list except for GFXBench.
