The new Omate smartwatch has just been unveiled. After the Omate Wherecom K3 Smartwatch for the kids, the company is introducing another Wherecom but this time, it’s the S3. The Omate Wherecom S3 is scheduled to launch in Europe this coming September with a 149 euro price tag ($168). It seems that we’re all about smartwatch this week. We’re not sure how many brands will be joining the trend and announcing new products at the Google I/O but those fans of Omate smartwatch and fitness trackers will be happy to know about this new variant.

According to Omate, the S3 is a combination of a standalone Android smartwatch and wearable GPS tracker. It’s a seniors smartwatch that allows adults to quickly connect with their family. By a seniors smartwatch we mean it’s for the grandparents who may not be techies and think the idea of a smarwatch could be complicated.

This Omate S3 is ideal for the elder generation because of the simple and easy to use design. You’ll see a quick dialler, pedometer, message hub, and alarm so the elders won’t have a hard time navigating the UI.
