So smartwatches are still not the ubiquitous devices that gadget manufacturers had hoped they would be, all of those OEMs that jumped on the wearable device bandwagon that started around 2 years ago. But manufacturers big and small are still churning out these devices, hoping that they would catch on soon enough. A small company called No. 1 has put out a number of smartwatches, and this one – called the D6 – should be their next entry in the market.

As you might have guessed, No. 1 is indeed a China-based company. They put out a sporty smartwatch last year called the D5, but it looks like the D6 will not follow the same template if these leaked images are to be believed. The images do look legit, but they show a smartwatch with a bit more elegant design than the D5.

The photos shows the D6 will be made out of metal, and square-shaped at that. It looks like there’s a lot of bezel going on, not really a turn-on for us. There are three capacitive buttons included below the display, menu, home and back, respectively. From the looks of it, the watch may ship with a leather band. The watch in the images sports gold (body) plus brown (band) color combo, though there might be more color options once this is launched.

In terms of specs, it can be safely assumed that the D6 would be more powerful than the D5, although no official specs have been released. The only information we have is that it will run Android Lollipop. Watch out soon for the pricing of this device.
