The game was originally called Bravely Default: Flying Fairy in Japan and developed by Silicon Studio – it was a single player RPG on the Nintendo 3DS mobile handheld platform. Given the penchant by the Japanese for weird game names, we weren’t surprised with that one. And now Square Enix is bringing this game to Android – calling it Bravely Default: Fairy’s Effect.
The original Bravely Default game came out on the 3DS in 2012. Square Enix has announced that it will be launching the game next year, 2017. There are no details yet about exactly when and where the game will launch, but 2017 is nearly upon us – we will probably not wait too long for this game.
There are very few details about this upcoming game, but one of the things that Square Enix did mentioned about this new Bravely Default game is that there will be a closed beta test in the not so distant future.
Will Square Enix stick to the single player motif of the game? We do not know yet, but we don’t have too long to wait, we feel.

One of the best RPG games I have ever played.
