Here is a new pair of Android phones from China: the Vivo X6 and Vivo X6 Plus. We’ve seen the Vivo X6 listed on TENAA a couple of weeks ago and as expected, we were right that it’s arriving soon complete with a metal body. The Vivo X6 arrived with the slightly bigger Vivo X6Plus so we can consider them as another flagship duo that can very well rival the S6/S6 edge and Note 5/S6 edge plus.
The Vivo X6 and Vivo X6Plus feature 5.2-inch and 5.7-inch screens, respectively. We can say the X6Plus is already considered a phablet because of the size although there’s just a slight difference. The bigger unit comes in three color variants: Gold, Rose Gold, and Silver.
Specs of the X6Plus include a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display, 1080p resolution, 386ppi pixel density, 4GB RAM, 64GB built-in storage, MediaTek MT6752 processor, Funtouch OS, and Android 5.1 Lollipop. The Vivo X6Plus also features an 8MP selfie camera, dedicated amp, Yamaha Hi-Fi chip, microUSB port, fast charging technology, and a 3,000mAh battery. We can expect this phone to come with a $500 or CNY 3,200 in China this coming December 7.
Meanwhile, the Vivo X6 features a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED screen, 1080p display, 424ppi, 4GB RAM, 32GB built-in memory, MediaTek MT6752 processor, dual-SIM support, and a microSD card slot. Battery is small at only 2,400mAh. The Vivo X6 will be available for only $390 or CNY 2,600 starting December 7, 2015.
