LG is pleased to announce that the new Nexus 5X launched a few weeks ago will soon be ready for purchase in several markets around the world. The smartphone will be available on Google Store online and can also be availed from major retailers and mobile carriers not only in South Korea but also in Japan, India, Ireland, Canada, UK and the US.
The latest Nexus from LG is actually the third product of a partnership between Google and the South Korean tech giant. While the Nexus 6P is the first from Huawei, a Chinese phone maker, this one from LG is expected to be another great smartphone. To review, phone features a 5.2-inch display screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, fingerprint sensor, advanced camera technology, only 2GB RAM, 16/32GB built-in storage, and a 2,700 mAh battery. This phone doesn’t have any option for storage expansion but there’s a Fast Charging feature.
The Nexus 5X is the first phone to officially run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. LG seems to be in the forefront now with releasing the Marshmallow OS ahead of the competition. A few days ago, we learned that the LG G4 is the first to receive the Android Marshmallow upgrade.
Availability and pricing may differ in several markets so watch out for local listings online or offline. Expect more details will be announced for more markets in Latin America, Asia, and Europe.
