After getting leaked over and over again, the Motorola Droid Pro is finally here. Unboxed, handled, and given a quick overview by the fine folks over at SlashGear. As you’ve come to expect from the initial unboxing and hands-on treatments in the past, they go ahead and give the device a quick once-over, testing certain things, in this case the keyboard and a few Quadrant test runs, along with how the device acts and feels right out of the box.

Right off the bat, the keyboard is impressive. It offers good feedback, feels good to type on, and it’s comfortable. The whole device may be a bit unorthodox in its design, at least as far as Motorola-manufactured Android devices go, but that works for the Droid Pro. They did find some interesting, and often inconsistent, results with Quadrant and Quadrant Pro, but more tests are coming, and hopefully we can pin down just how well the Pro compares to the other high-end devices available.
