It appears that at least one Android superfan has gotten his hands on one of the next big magnificent pieces of Google mobile operating system, the Motorola Droid BIONIC. This device is set to be the first dual-core smartphone on the market with Verizon’s 4G LTE connectivity. Today what we’re seeing is a fellow going by codename bworly65 filming every little hands-on video you could ever hope for.
We know a lot about the device that’s set to go head to head with the iPhone and the Samsung Galaxy S II, including that it will more than likely do so very soon – soon as in September 8th soon, that it’ll be released for non-contract retail of $589 USD (likely $199 on a 2-year contract), and that you can win one on the ARena Augmented Reality DROID DOES scavenger hunt, amongst many more factoids of course.
Below you’ll find a series of videos filmed OF and WITH the Droid BIONIC. These videos were filmed by a fellow that’s somehow gotten his hands on a device earlier than basically everyone else on earth – lucky him! Enjoy to the fullest!

Gotta Love It!!!! Alright PhoneDog!!
Didn’t the battery seem to die fast? Or is it b/c it is like it’s first use or something?
just let me touch it, jeeze I have waited 7 months. LOL
Where does the $199 on contract price come from? Is it based on any particular rumors, or is it just an assumption? Because the assumptions I’ve heard up to this point are $299 on contract.

videos aren’t working………
I have to admit i am kinda feeling Motorola’s skin on the bionic. I like what they have done with the lock screen as well as the effect they added when you move widgets and change screens. But in the end, this product should have came out months ago, the specs are about 2 months from being last generation. I still think this phone will sell decently well, i have lots of friends on Verizon that have been waiting to upgrade for months and will surely jump on the bionic when it comes out

I already bought the photon from best buy with there buyback option anytime within 2 years they’ll buy the phone off me for $350 & by that time my sprint upgrade would be in effect & I’ll get the latest phone. Motorola is making some of the best phones & there reception is second to none along with the sGPS they’re using.I get gps so exact that in less than half a second I’m connected to 8 satellites, not just detect but actually connected to them & the accuracy is tested by how low the number of feet it’s able to spot you, the accuracy is on moto’s photon is zero! Same hardware & antennas, different gpu but they will be the top.I wonder how the gs2’s reception will be.
