Motorola’s Defy we saw this past week at CTIA is bound for Germany. The consumer can purchase this device full price for 350 euros or for just 1 euro with contract. Motorola’s calling the phone “Life Proof,” and as we’ve seen before Defy certainly seems to be able to do just that!
This device appears to be capable of withstanding water, being dropped from a few feet up, and has quite a rugged capacity. Defy comes with Android 2.1 and MOTOBLUR. It also features an 800MHz processor, 2GB of onboard storage, a 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreen, a 5-megapixel camera, and loads of extras in this slick-looking package. If you’re hard on your phone and the don’t want the unfortunate iPhone mishap to happen to you, this might just be the phone you’ve been waiting for. So pack your bags and head over to Germany because the Defy is calling your name.
