As promised, the new Moto 360 Sport is now available in the United States. We said that this smartwatch ideal for workout would be ready in the UK and the US for the health and fitness enthusiasts soon. True enough, it was released in Europe last December and yesterday in the US through a number of online retailers and directly from the Motorola website.

The Moto 360 Sport comes with a $299 price tag. It will be available on Best Buy starting January 10. Once you get your hands on your smartwatch, you can start to enjoy the fitness apps, built-in GPS, voice control, heart rate monitor, wireless music listening, and the brilliant display even under bright light conditions. The smartwatch allows wireless charging so you don’t have to worry about cables. It’s IP67 dust- and weather- resistant too so it’s okay to splash on some water on to the watch.

Battery is only 300 mAh but it can last up to one whole day especially if you take advantage of the Ambient mode. As for connectivity, there’s only WiFi and Bluetooth—no cellular connection.

To review, specs include a 1.37-inch Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 263PPI, 360 x 325 resolution, 45mm diameter, 11.5mm high, GPS, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. A silicone band is available for the Moto 360 Sport.

Motorola’s Moto 360 Sport smartwatch is powered by Android Wear. It still comes with a flat tire, sorry.
