A few months ago heralded the arrival of a wearable device called Flash Link that you could wear on your wrist or clip to any part of your body and set it up to automate some actions or trigger some digital things around you. But now, you will be able to do so much more since the Misfit Link is now available for your Android devices (other than those that were previously compatible) through the Google Play Store.

With the Android app now easily downloadable, this means that you can make your Flash do a lot of things. You can set it up that it will take your selfies without using a selfie stick or damaging your arm trying to extend it to take a great group shot. You can use it to control the music in your car without getting into an accident because you took your eyes off the road. You can advance the slides in your presentation without constantly having to lean over your laptop.

These are just some of the things that your Flash Link can do together with the Misfit Link app. And soon, when IFTTT and Logitech Harmony becomes integrated, you can do a gazillion more things with your wearable.

If you don’t have the Flash Link activity tracker yet, you can get it from the Misfit website for just $19.99. But if you do have it already, you can now download the Misfit Link app from the Google Play Store for free.
