Samsung is ready to roll out the new Galaxy C5. After the leaked images and the AnTuTu benchmark details, we learned that it will have a slim metallic design. We know announcement is imminent especially now that the phone has just dropped by TENAA. As you know, any visit to this Chinese FCC means the phone will be announced any day now.
The Samsung Galaxy C5 is said to be revealed together with the Galaxy C7 this coming May 26. The TENAA listing confirms some of the details we already know: 1.2GHz to 1.5GHz Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor, 5.2-inch Full HD display, 4GB RAM, 32GB or 64GB onboard storage, 16MP rear camera, 8MP selfie camera, and a 2600mAh battery. The phone runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It measures 145.9 × 72 × 6.7mm and weighs only 153g. Rumor has it that this will come with a full metal body design and some shiny glass material at the back.
This Samsung Galaxy C5 is one of the latest instalments in the Galaxy C series. It’s a new mid-range line but the some specs are already impressive. For one, the Galaxy C7 already features a 4GB RAM. Perhaps Samsung will soon make 4GB RAM a standard for mid-range phones and upgrade the high-end phones to 6GB RAM later this year or for the Galaxy S8 variants during next year.
