If it’s always been your dream to have a smartphone that is more expensive and luxurious than all your other gadgets combined, then this might be something you should aspire for. Luxury smartphone brand Lumigon has announced the release of a 24-karat gold edition of their T2 HD device, and if it’s something that you can afford, then it might just be worth it.
It’s not just the smartphone that is golden; even all the accessories that come with it will “perfectly match” your device. The 4.3″ smartphone with its 720×1280 display comes in a luxurious looking box, complete with golden dock, an in-ear Hi-Fi headset, plus all other usual smartphone accessories (power adaptor, cable, SIM Card tray, etc), but all gold-themed of course. The dock itself is pretty special, as it has has a Behavior Control feature that can set up your smartphone with different profiles and configurations, depending on the settings you want it to do.
The phone even has a Glove mode which will let you swipe and touch to your heart’s content even if you’re wearing your gloves (particularly during the winter season). And if you don’t feel like touching your phone (sticky fingers on a 24-karat phone is always a bad idea), it has a handwave function that can answer calls, snooze your alarm, look through photos in the gallery, all by just waving your hand at your device. The T2 HD has other functions as well, like a secure and encrypted exclusive digital vault (only for Lumigon), Hi-Fi stereo speakers, a 2.4 MP front camera with flash (main camera has 13MP), and you can use it as a universal remote control.
The T2 HD gold edition runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.7 Ghz Dual Core with Adreno 320 GPU, has a 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal memory (you also have 64GB and 128GB models). Of course you expect the price tag for this to be expensive so don’t be surprised to learn that it will cost you at least $1,225 (VAT exclusive) when you buy it through their webshop.
