When independent developer Chris Lacy released his Link Bubble app last year, he said he was very proud of this project more than anything he has done in his career. The app, together with TapPath and Link Bubble Pro, have been useful to a lot of Android users who want faster and more efficient web browsing all the time.

Lacy may not have imagined his app would be popular even if the Pro version has been released but he realized that such apps take a lot of effort and resources. The small indie company may have not expected to achieve such success but the developer has made a decision to give his apps a new home by selling them to an unknown startup based in the US.

The Link Bubble, Link Bubble Pro, and TapPath are now owned by another company, which according to Chris Lacy, is still in stealth mode. The new owners will make an announcement and soon we’ll understand why the developer agreed to sell the apps and why he is very much hopeful and excited about the deal.

Link Bubble may no longer be his but Chris Lacy has released an update that includes bug fixes, six new language translations, custom domain redirects, HTML drop down elements, colored toolbars, and Material Design elements. TapPath and Link Bubble Pro accounts are still integrated with one’s Google Account. The free app version will get updates from the Google Play Store.

With Link Bubble, you can save time in loading web pages because the app browser is fast. Links are loaded in the background so when you click on one, you can quickly view the page. Waiting time is reduced because you can be productive by checking out other apps while another page is loading. Only less than two years old, the Link Bubble has contributed to a better web experience on mobile devices. The original developer is hoping to see his apps become bigger and more useful in the coming years.
